When Silas grows up....part 2

I wrote before that Silas was going to take things apart and put them back together when he grows up.  And I still fully believe that is a true possibility.  He really does seem to want to know exactly how things work.  But, there is also something else that he loves.  Trains.  Trucks.  And diggers.  He recently got to try one out!  Well, he was able to sit in one.  And steer.

And try out the levers.  He had a HUGE smile on his face the entire time.  He was so excited!

We went to a fun day at the park where they had fire trucks, police cars, diggers and other kinds of vehicles and fun activities.  Sophie was able to take a ride in this-she thought that was pretty fun.

One of the tables was giving out some flashing lights.  Silas carried his around the entire time.  He did not let it go for the entire 2 hours we were there.  Even though, he could not see the light flash in the sun.

And this is what it looks like when I try to take a picture of all 3 kids, at the same time.  Silas kept trying to climb up.  I'm pretty sure that he thought he was on a slide.  And when I finally had him looking at me, Caleb would look away.  Oh well, this is what Silas is like most of the time.  Always moving.  Never stopping.  Yep, he's 2.

Never stopping until the walk back to the car, anyhow.  And then he was done.

One of the things I love most about summer

is that you can eat outside.

Somehow, Silas just eats better out there.

Now, if only I could get him to quit feeding the ants.

"Because...

...if everybody believed the same, it would be VERY boring."
